Casting Director Tiandra Gayle seeks actors for the upcoming short film production,
Walking Maris’ Way by Raymond Boone and Katherine Rodriguez. Director: Sofian
Khan. Producer: Dwight Ali Williams. Interviews are scheduled for Feb. 21 and March
7. Production slated for May 1, 2010. Non-Union & No Pay, however, Credit/Meal
Provided. There is Opportunities Available for Trades & Crew.



Det. Maris Ortiz – a 30-35 yrs. old Latin American female detective that balances
home life with the male dominated, bureaucratic NYPD. Maris has an engaging and
intriguing personality. She is a master of her craft in criminal psychology.



* Capt. Ronald Duffy – a stern, 45-60 yrs. old Irish American “NYPD Brass” that has
a reputation for his “No-Nonsense” approaches towards the public and his
subordinates.



* Ofc. Mark Garafola – an athletic, 25-35 yrs. old Italian American uniformed police
officer that enjoys living on the edge after serving as a US Marine.



* Ofc. Keith Ricketts – 25-35 yrs. old African American uniformed police officer with
reasonableness, humor, and sensibility.



* NYS Trooper Izzy Cobon – a 35-30 yrs. old Latin American state trooper with boyish
charm that undergoes a quarter-life crisis.


Paula – the 25-30 yrs. old Latina model is Izzy Cobon’s fiancée and mother of Izzy Jr.


Mrs. Cobon – the 50-70 yrs. old Latina is mother to Izzy Cobon.


Mr. Cobon – the 50-70 yrs. old Latino is father to Izzy Cobon.


Izzy Jr.  – 7-12 yrs. old inquisitive Latin American boy that is the son of Izzy and Paula.


Father Healy – a 30-50 yrs. old Catholic priest of any ethnicity.


Tania Rivera – a 25-30 yrs. old investigative reporter and news anchor of any
ethnicity.



Young Male – 20-25 yrs. old male with headphones of any ethnicity.
